GGU Remembers | Memorial Day 2021

Memorial Day - GGU.png

The Helen Diller Center for Veterans of U.S. Military Service at GGU understands the importance of taking the time to honor those who have died in service to the country, as well as reflecting on their lives and what they sacrificed. That is why we are providing a space for anyone who would like to share a memory on a virtual Memorial Day Wall. You may share a video recollection or written remembrance, and we will post your story on the military.ggu.edu blog for visitors to reflect and remember as well.

We encourage anyone who would like to honor a military service member who died while serving, or a late family member who served in previous generations, to share a funny story, a heroic one, what they loved, and how they impacted your life.

How to submit: Click the “Get Started” button below (or “Play” button on the video if you’re mobile) and follow the video prompts. You can record your video directly into our platform by following the instructions.

Submission Deadline: Tuesday, May 25 at 5 p.m. PT

Please help us share this link with anyone who would like to contribute and share their memory. We’ll relaunch this page on Friday, May 28th with a Memorial Gallery composed of all the submissions and stories.

Thank you to all who have served, and those who are helping keep the memories of those we’ve lost alive.
