Guest Bio:

Ron DeSilva is an Assistant Director with EY’s DEI Recruiting Center of Excellence, where he leads the firm’s upstream veterans strategy. During his 12-year tenure at EY, Ron has managed the experienced recruiting functions for multiple service lines, assisted with EY acquisitions, and for the past 4 years, has been a member of the DEI Recruiting COE.

Ron is a US Air Force veteran who served honorably during Operation Desert Storm as an Air Traffic Controller. Ron was also on special assignment in Colombia and Peru with the Drug Interdiction Program. After his time with the USAF, Ron spent 4 years in government consulting in Washington DC before transitioning into the HR/ Talent Acquisition field.

Ron holds a Master’s Degree in HR Management from Cornell University and a Bachelor’s in Business Management from Wilmington University. Ron currently resides in the Atlanta suburbs with his wife, two children, and his 2-year-old golden retriever.
