GGU Named Top 10 Military Friendly® and Military Spouse Friendly® School
Golden Gate University (GGU) has once again been recognized as a national leader in military and veteran education, earning two prestigious honors in the 2025–2026 Military Friendly® rankings.
GGU was named a Top 10 Military Friendly® School, ranking #5 in the Private Institutions Not Offering Doctorates category. In addition, GGU earned a spot among the Top 10 Military Spouse Friendly® Schools, ranking #3 nationwide—demonstrating our commitment to student veterans and the spouses and families who serve alongside them.
Over the past five years, GGU has steadily advanced through the Military Friendly® tiers—from Recognized to Bronze, Silver, and Gold. For the second consecutive year, we’ve retained our Gold designation and now stand among the top-ranked schools in both Military Friendly® and Military Spouse Friendly® categories.
More than 1,800 schools participated in the 2025–2026 survey, but only 830 received awards for exceeding the standard in serving military-connected students. Schools are evaluated on key performance indicators such as student retention, graduation rates, job placement, loan repayment, and support services—measured across general and military-affiliated student populations.
