Golden Gate University
Committed to Serving our Heroes
Since 1901, Golden Gate University has been educating adults in pursuit of their professional goals by providing undergraduate and graduate education in Public Administration, Business, Leadership, Psychology, Accounting, Taxation, and Law. GGU’s degree offerings, schedule flexibility, online options, vibrant alumni network, and focus on adult-learners make this downtown San Francisco university a perfect fit for military and veteran students.
Historic Ties
GGU began offering programs to returning WWI Veterans back in 1918, and was invited to offer full degree programs on Hamilton AFB in Marin County starting in 1967. That program grew to include nearly three dozen teaching locations with 36,000 enrollments on military bases across the United States. Learn more.
Today’s Commitment
Military-connected students make up almost a third of GGU’s student population. Veterans, Reservists, active duty and National Guardsmen, and their spouses, are finding a natural fit with GGU. GGU is committed to supporting all of your unique needs: from degree and credit design to a supportive community of mentors, career coaches, and networking opportunities.
